Sun Studio with Burning Time

Atlanta-based Burning Time, for whom I play keys and guitar, is scheduled to record at Sun Studio in April. Located in the heart of Memphis, this studio is famous for launching the careers of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and many more legends.

ALBERT KING, b. 1923 (April 25)

My favorite song of this legendary artist is Born Under A Bad Sign. It was actually written and recorded by the great William Bell, but I think most Blues afficianados would agree that King’s version is the more widely-known.
