Two Firsts in Knoxville

Saturday, June 19th, 2010

Had fun on Friday with Rich and Calvin playing at Manhattan’s in Knoxville, TN. We rocked it all night, autographed a few CDs, and made some new friends!
Plus two things happened that’ve never seen before:
•this lady gave me a rose (???)
•hotel room had a jacuzzi inside; great way to end the evening!

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

The depiction of Calvin Coolidge on the 1926 American Independence half dollar marked the first time a president appeared on a coin struck during his own lifetime.
The Sesquicentennial of American Independence half dollar, issued in 1926, raised funds for an international fair in Philadelphia.
