Born in 1945, this Rock icon is one of two surviving founders of The Who. Perhaps one of the most famous bands ever, The Who were part of the British Invasion and wrote countless hits such as Who Are You, Won’t Get Fooled Again, I Can See For Miles, and Baba O’Riley (known for its anthemic synth intro, and chorus “teenage wasteland”).
Since Pete is still with the living, we’re not remembering him, but we do celebrate his contribution to Music and the culture of humankind. Thanks Pete! ~NE
