I know many folks look down upon this time of the year as a merchant’s excuse to sell cards and chocolate, but I like to think of it as an excuse to get away.

No I do not endorse going around kissing strangers; I’m thinking more of the 19th-century Romantic [literary] period … Try unplugging from your desk / phones … Stop reading this blog and write a poem :)
